University of Queensland, Ipswich Inspection

The University of Queensland Library has an indoor green space with a tensile fabric roof. This provides a serene area of light and comfort surrounded by greenery and a water feature. Sky Skills inspected and repaired the tensile fabric roof of the USQ library in Ipswich. The inspection consisted of a close-up inspection of all the bolts on the wood and steel structure. Sky Skills tightened the bolts that required attention and thus ensured the structure was safe. The cone and mast of the structure cable connections and bolts were also inspected. Where it was impossible to reach with a nifty lift, Sky Skills utilised a professional drone to take close-up photos for evaluation.
